Can you still exercise your dog if he has arthritis? Absolutely! 

But keep the exercise routine gentle and consistent to keep joints moving and weight under control. Avoid repetitive exercise such as ball catching that can place added strain and stress on joints and cause more inflammation.

If your cat has stopped grooming herself (especially along the back and around the base of the tail) she might be suffering from arthritis. Cats sometimes stop grooming themselves when they have sore joints - it's just too painful to turn around. Ask us for an arthritis check up today.

Cold weather makes arthritis a real pain! Here are some tips for keeping your older pets comfortable - ask us for more information.

Image with tips: Provide your pet with soft, padded bedding that they can sink their joints in to. Ensure the bed is lifted up off the cold floor. Keep the bed away from draughts, wind and rain. Heated bedding is cosy. Snuggly coats and jackets keep those joints warm.
